SKM will convene on November 27 to vote on the next steps in the repeal of farm laws.

The farmer unions will also send Prime Minister Narendra Modi an open letter outlining their final demands.

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced in a press conference held at the Singhu border on Sunday that protests will continue as planned for the time being. It goes on to say that a meeting will be held on November 27 to decide on the next steps. Farmer unions will also write Prime Minister Narendra Modi an open letter outlining their remaining requests.

"We're going to write the prime minister an open letter." We will address various points in the letter, including the legal mandate for MSP. The Electricity Act will be amended, which will be a major topic. Our demand for action against the minister in connection with the Lakhimpur event will also be included in the letter.” Balbir Singh Rajewal said.

The leader also stated that the march to Parliament scheduled for the end of the month will go place on time. Meanwhile, the SKM has called a mahapanchayat meeting for Monday in Lucknow. Rakesh Tikait and several other leaders would arrive in Lucknow shortly to assess the preparations.

Farmers around the country have been urged to gather at protest sites on November 26 to commemorate the first anniversary of the agitation against Union farm legislation. Tractor rallies will be held in state capitals to commemorate the anniversary. The first group of farmers from Punjab and Haryana arrived at the Singhu border on November 26 last year to protest.

From November 29, the SKM will send 500 farmers in tractors every day to Parliament to protest during the forthcoming Winter Session.
